Taiwan Youth Delegation Visited the College for Exchanges
On September 2nd, a delegation of Taiwan youth composed of teachers and students from Shih Chien University, Providence University, Hsuan Chuang University and other schools visited the college for exchange activities. Li Ju, Director of the Municipal Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, Jian Kui, Deputy Section Chief of the Cadre Section of the United Front Work Department of the Municipal Party Committee, Yang Chao, Member of the Party Committee and Director of the Publicity and United Front Work Department of the College, and relevant personnel from the Youth League Committee, the College Office and the Security Department participated in the activity.

The delegation visited the teaching and training venues of the School of Network and Communication, the School of Electronics and Internet of Things, the School of Modern Manufacturing, as well as the activity sites of the Communist Youth League. They watched the traditional dragon and lion performances and exchanged views on the “drone football match” displays.

At the subsequent symposium, Yang Chao, on behalf of the college, extended a warm welcome to the visiting Taiwan youth delegation and introduced the college’s school-running situation. He stated that the college will further strengthen exchanges and ties with friendly organizations and personages in Taiwan, deepen educational cooperation, and work together to create a bright future for cooperation.
Professor Gong Zhiming from Shih Chien University in Taiwan spoke highly of the college’s educational strength and the good demeanor of its teachers and students. He expressed the hope that this exchange would serve as an opportunity to build a closer communication bridge, promote the common growth of young people on both sides of the Taiwan Strait, and contribute to the integrated development of the two sides.
The participants conducted in-depth exchanges on the inheritance of fine traditional Chinese culture, the application and development prospects of drones, and other topics.
