The Delegation of Dhurakij Pundit University Visited the College
On October 15, a delegation led by Huang Lide, Vice President of Dhurakij Pundit University, visited our college. President Han Peng warmly received Huang Lide and his delegation in Conference Room 0903 of the Complex Building at Xuefeng Campus, with relevant heads of International Cooperation Office and Human Resources Department in attendance.
At the meeting, Han Peng briefed the participants on the achievements the college has made in internationalized education. He pointed out that in recent years, the college has been committed to building the "Six Major Internationalization Projects", including fostering the brand of Studying at SVCIT, professional internationalization, partnership development, intellectual talent introduction and cultivation, overseas school operation, and overseas training programs. The college has established cooperative relations with 42 institutions across 15 countries, and enrolled 573 international students from 23 countries. It has also been selected into the first batch of the China-ASEAN Thousand Schools Partnership Program launched by the Ministry of Education. Thanks to these efforts, the level of international education has been continuously elevated and the international influence has been steadily expanded. He expressed the college’s willingness to join hands with Dhurakij Pundit University to further build and deepen cooperation on the basis of existing achievements, so as to achieve mutual promotion and common development.
Huang Lide introduced the school-running characteristics, project experience and cooperation advantages of Dhurakij Pundit University. He stated that he hoped to take this visit as an opportunity to promote cooperation between the two institutions in relevant professional fields.
