2026 Spring Student Sports Meeting Held
The 2026 Spring Student Sports Meeting kicked off at the track and field stadium of Xuefeng Campus on April 24 and 25. Han Peng, President of the college, together with other members of the college leadership team present on campus, as well as heads of all functional departments and secondary colleges, attended the opening ceremony.











At the opening ceremony, amid the stirring Athletes' March, the national flag guard, colored flag squad, referee team and formations of all secondary colleges marched in order. Full of vigor and shouting loud slogans, the students displayed the fine mental outlook of young students.
Following the parade, all stood in solemn silence to raise the national flag and sing the national anthem.
Liu Kai, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, delivered the opening speech. He first extended warm congratulations on the opening of the sports meeting, and sent sincere greetings and highest respects to all teachers and students who had worked hard for the event preparation. Meanwhile, he hoped all athletes would carry forward the Olympic spirit of "Higher, Faster, Stronger — Together", compete in good sportsmanship and show their best performance. Finally, he wished the track and field games a complete success.
Xu Kai on behalf of the referees and Chen Siyang on behalf of the athletes took the oath respectively. Han Peng announced the opening of the 2026 Spring Student Track and Field Games.





During the subsequent group calisthenics performances, various wonderful shows took the stage one after another: the dragon and lion dance team presented Prosperous Dragon & Lion, Ignite Youth; the school aerobics team, dance troupe and street dance club staged Vibrant Youth, Chase Light and Set Sail; the School of Modern Manufacturing delivered Gear-Built Dreams, Craft a Powerful Nation; the School of Intelligent Control performed martial arts calisthenics; and the School of Electronics and Internet of Things put on Graceful Dance, Core Toward the Future — A Tribute to the 50th Anniversary of the College’s Founding. Their splendid performances pushed the atmosphere of the opening ceremony to a climax.





Over the two-day competition, athletes took part in 32 events including sprints, long-distance runs, relays and high jumps. The games were well-organized and filled with excitement.




After fierce competition, the School of Software claimed the first place in the women's team total score, and the School of Modern Manufacturing took the first place in the men's team total score. The School of Electronics and Internet of Things won the overall championship in both men's and women's team rankings, while the School of Software was awarded the Excellent Organization Award.
