International Students Attend the 2026 China Perception Study Tour
From June 15 to 17, international students from our college visited Sichuan Polytechnic University to take part in the activity "Discover Deyang · Experience Intangible Cultural Heritage – 2026 China Perception Study Tour .
During the study tour, teachers and international students exchanged views with counterparts from other institutions on international school-running and international student training, learning from each other to pursue common development. The participants successively experienced a range of intangible cultural heritage programs including traditional tea art, Deyang folding fan craftsmanship and Mianzhu New Year painting. Through hands-on practice, they appreciated craftsman’s spirit embodied in traditional crafts and savored the unique charm of excellent traditional Chinese culture.
The study tour group also visited Sanxingdui Museum to trace the origins of the ancient Shu civilization and experience the profound historical heritage of the Bashu region. A gala party was held concurrently during the activity. Young people from various countries forged friendships through exchanges, fully demonstrating youthful vitality as well as an open and inclusive spirit.
This study tour deepened international students’ understanding and recognition of excellent traditional Chinese culture through immersive personal experiences. Going forward, the College will further deepen inter-university cooperation and regularly organize international cultural study and exchange activities. The College will guide international students to better understand and interpret China, act as ambassadors for cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries, tell Chinese stories well and spread China’s voice to the world.
